Access is via the B4333 from either Blaenannerch or from the Goreddan Arms Public House on the A 487 coast Rd. The footpath links the village of Aberporth and Tresaith, passing above several rocky inlets. The view down the coast is of the RAE Establishment, now a site of Special Scientific Interest as it has become a sanctuary for rare plants. While up the coast can be seen the distinctive headland of Ynys Locktyn. As you draw near to Tresaith, a waterfall, the Afon Saith diverted in the last Ice Age comes into view on the far side of the beach. When taking walk's along these cliff's, please take care as parts can give away, so always' keep to the footpath. |
