Jet Ski's
Jet Ski's cannot be launched from
New Quay or used along the
Marine Heritage Coast.

New Quay harbour has good launching facilities for most types of craft; deep-water anchorage for visiting craft lay outside the harbour in the bay. Visiting craft wishing to use
these facilities you must contact the harbourmaster on arrival. All fees must be paid for on arrival at the harbourmasters office at the top of the harbour slip. The area around
the harbour is protected by the prevailing southwesterlies. A reef (Carreg Ina) comes out from the land for 0.52 miles, 1000m north east of the pier this is marked by a large
unlit yellow buoy. Yellow marker buoys are placed half a mile out from the coast between New Quay Head to Cwmtydu which is 4 miles south of New Quay, this is a marine
protected area and a 8 knot speed limit is in force, this must be observed at all times. The Ceredigion Marine Heritage Council protects the area from Cardigan Island to Aberaeron.
