"Sulaire" is a 33ft modern charter/research vessel, comprehensively equiped with the latest eletronic and safety equipment, and is fully licenced and insured for 12 passengers,

During the summer months Sun Fish are regularly
visitors along the coast between Cardigan Island
and Aberaeron. All picture's were taken from the
survey boat 'Sulaire'.

The picture above was taken August (2004) from the survey
boat 'Sulaire' of a Minke Whale off New Quay Head,
entangled with discarded trawler netting. The Minke was
followed for two days to see if the netting could be
removed, the Minke disappeared overnight, last being
seen heading south towards Fishguard.

Owner/Skipper; Mr S Hartley has operated along the Cardiganshire
coast for over twenty years as a charter skipper,
commercial fisherman also 2nd coxswain for the New Quay Lifeboat.
He holds:
RYA: Offshore Yacht Masters Certificate.
DTI: Boat Masters Licence.
DTI: Sea Survival Certificate.
RNLI: Trained first aider.
RNLI: Radar operators Certificate.
RNLI: MF & VHF radio operators licence.

Charter Hire
The 'Sulaire' is available for long survey trips, we are licenced to cover
all of the Irish Sea from West Wales to Southern Eire. The boat has
VHF, GPS, Radar and underwater sound equipment. The 'Sulaire' is
available 12months of the year weather permitting
